Here’s the “who’re you”: My name is Michael Tabacinic; I’m a freshman at UM, unfortunately enrolled in the school of architecture (read: “unfortunately not sleeping more than 4 hours on week-nights)………… and currently studying in Rome for a semester... that's Rome, Italy.


As for the “where’re you from”, brace yourselves, here goes:

I was born (first son, second child) on December 2nd 1982 in Miami, city of newly weds and nearly deads, but never lived there (at least not till college started……). I was brought up in Colombia, till the ripe age of 7½ (in the meantime, two sisters were born); then my parents decided to move to France for a short period of time they said. After 10 years, my parents decided that they’d had enough of the French and their attitude (no, those caricatures of the French are in NO WAY exaggerations) so they moved to Miami, while I went to Israel for a year.

And now, here I am………
